To get +5 to your new Shadowlands professions, you will need a minimum of level 1 in the Shadowlands version of your profession. Profession Quests. If you're missing some crucial skill points to max out your Professions, do not forget that the Darkmoon Faire Profession quests can grant you 5 skill points! You no longer need to have 75 skill points for the Profession quests. A minimum Classic skill of 1 should be enough if you make sure your Shadowlands skill is higher than that.

Faire Favors (Profession Quests) Players can complete five profession quests per month: two for primary professions, and three for secondary professions. If you complete all five quests, you will get 7 Darkmoon Prize Ticket and Faire Favors. Completing the Profession Quest awards +5 to the skill in your highest expansion profession known.
